Steadfast warriors, champions have a knack for combat and grow into formidable foes as they learn from new opponents. They come in many shapes and sizes, using a wide variety of weapons and tactics; the only thing that groups champions together is their use of momentum. A champion finds confidence with every blow, increasing their chances of success with every inch of ground they gain.
Each time a champion successfully makes any to-hit roll they gain a +1 to-hit bonus to any further to-hit rolls.
This bonus stacks additively with itself, to a maximum of +4. This bonus lasts until they make an unsuccessful to-hit roll, go an entire round without performing any to-hit rolls, or are given a status condition that would affect their stamina, action points or ability to use actions.
